If your teeth are displaying any of the following: crooked, uneven, discoloured, chipped, cracked or missing teeth, veneers can help by giving you an improved appearance and helping you to feel good about your smile once more.
Having veneers will result in whiter and straighter teeth. Once fitted, they will last many years and will give you back your confidence.
What does having veneers fitted involve?
Whether you are having a single veneer, or a set, the process of cosmetic dental surgery is the same. After an initial consultation, we will undertake a cosmetic simulation where we will help you to decide exactly what kind of look you aspire to and in particular the shade that is best for you.
Next a 3D design is made so that we can check it from all angles for aesthetic appearance and function. You will require two appointments in preparation. The first to prepare the tooth by removing a layer from the front and biting edge of the tooth. Impressions are then taken and temporary veneers constructed using the 3D model as a guide. At the second appointment, the final veneers are cemented in to place and then polished and the fit checked. You will require a follow up appointment after a few weeks.
At Smiles, we feel it important to offer a no-obligation consultation to anyone who is considering treatment. This will enable us to fully explain the products we use and what is involved in the delivery of the treatment. It will also enable us to ask you a few health-based questions which may highlight possible contraindications to having such treatments. In this case, we will be able to advise you of alternative options. Your health and safety is of paramount importance to us and we always endeavour to ensure the safest and optimal outcome for you.
Veneers are not a cheap option but done well they are a great investment in both your appearance and confidence. Smiles has a range of excellent payment plans and the cost can be met over a one to three year time scale making it more realistic than many people think.
