GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE RETURN OF DENTAL SERVICES IN ENGLAND.

We, like you, learned of the government’s plans for dental practices to re-open from Monday 8th June during the briefing. of the Prime Minister on the 28th of May

At the moment, and so that you are fully aware, only dental practices who can evaluate that they have the PPE (personal protective equipment) and IPC (infection prevention and control) requirements in place are allowed to welcome back patients. Fortunately, we at Smiles on Broadway have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare for our re-opening, to ensure that it is safe for both patients and staff to return.

In light of the Prime Minister’s briefing, we will be in touch with our valued patients in the coming weeks about any further updates that will occur.

Whilst we prepare for our re-opening, however, we respectfully ask that you do not call the practice to book any routine appointments. Initial appointments will be prioritised for emergencies only

The procedure is carried out using Fotona laser technology. The laser stimulates the production of new collagen initiating neocollagenesis as well as tightening existing collagen around the eye.

The procedure is comfortable and although some clients may experience minimal redness or swelling, the majority have no down-time after the treatment.

We suggest you repeat the treatment twice more when your natural new collagen is produced, which is usually around 4-6 weeks. Additional treatments will increase the visible results, however once a treatment plan is completed, you should expect to see ongoing improvements as your collagen and elastin is regenerated for up to 10 months.

Frequently asked questions 

Can I carry on as normal after treatment?
Fotona Smooth Eyes suits the majority of our clients with zero down-time after treatment. We do however suggest that you wear SPF 50 on the treated area for at least 2 weeks post procedure.
How often do I need to have Fotona Smooth Eyes?
We recommend 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. After your initial treatments you should see results for up to 10 months.
Is Fotona Smooth Eyes painful?
No, Fotona Smooth Eyes is not painful. We apply a topical local anaesthetic cream to make the procedure pain free and comfortable. You may feel a warm sensation during treatment but this is easily tolerated.
Is Fotona Smooth Eyes safe?
Yes. Because Fotona Smooth Eyes uses laser technology it is very effective on the delicate area of skin around your eye. The laser is non UV and heats the tissue safely around the eye area to stimulate collagen production and tighten the area treated.
What does Fotona Smooth Eyes improve?
